Brotherhood Membership

Brotherhood Membership

After ten months of service and fulfilling certain requirements, a member may take part in the Brotherhood ceremony, which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order. Completion of this ceremony signifies full membership in the OA. The Brotherhood application can be found here.

The JumpStart Program

JumpStart ScreenshotIn January of 2003, a special area of the national OA web site was created to help new members of the Order of the Arrow learn about the OA. The "Jumpstart for New Arrowmen" area Photo of the latest OA Handbookprovides an introduction to the Order and its programs, and assists new members in sealing their membership in Brotherhood.

To access the new Jumpstart area, simply go to http://www.jumpstart.oa-bsa.org/ or click the "Jumpstart For New Arrowmen" button. While access to the JumpStart are is free, you will need a copy of the latest OA Handbook (photo at right) in order to login..
